Version: 1.1
Updated: 26 October 2026
Thank you for choosing KOVE. Our mission is to create premium wellness products that deliver years of reliable performance. Every KOVE product is designed using carefully selected materials and engineered to provide exceptional quality when installed, used and maintained correctly.
This Warranty & Product Care Guide explains the warranty provided by KOVE, your responsibilities as the owner, and the process for making a warranty claim should you ever need our support.
We encourage all customers to read this guide carefully and retain it together with their proof of purchase.
Important Notice
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
This document sets out KOVE’s voluntary manufacturer’s warranty.
It is provided in addition to, and does not replace, restrict or limit, any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection legislation, including Australian Consumer Law.
Where there is any inconsistency between this warranty and applicable consumer legislation, the applicable legislation shall prevail.
Warranty Overview
All KOVE warranty periods begin on the original order date, including consumer warranties, business and trade parts warranties, and any shorter product-specific warranty periods.
Consumer Customers (B2C – Australia)
All KOVE saunas have a 2-year mechanical and electrical warranty and a 3-year structural warranty for exterior timber. Ice bath chillers have a 2-year warranty. Other products have the periods stated in their product-specific section below. Warranty cover is for manufacturing defects.
Sauna and Chiller Warranty Periods
- All KOVE saunas — 2-year mechanical and electrical warranty: covers manufacturing defects in infrared heating tubes and elements, sauna heaters supplied with the sauna (including Harvia heaters), heater elements, lights, display panels, control panels and other supplied mechanical or electrical components.
- All KOVE saunas — 3-year structural warranty: covers manufacturing defects in all exterior timber components of the sauna, including the exterior timber walls, cladding, frame and timber roof components. This period applies to the exterior timber only; it does not extend the mechanical and electrical warranty or automatically cover glass, roof coverings, fittings or interior timber for three years.
- All KOVE ice bath chillers — 2-year warranty: covers manufacturing defects in the chiller and its supplied components.
These periods begin on the original order date. The sauna periods apply across the KOVE sauna range, including indoor infrared, outdoor barrel and outdoor cube saunas. Other products retain their separately stated warranty periods. Normal wear, routine servicing and damage caused by an excluded event are not manufacturing defects.
During the warranty period, KOVE will, at its discretion and where a valid manufacturing defect is confirmed:
- Replace the defective component;
- Supply replacement parts where appropriate;
- Replace the product with a new, refurbished or equivalent model; or
- Provide a refund where appropriate.
The method of resolution will depend upon the nature of the fault, the age of the product, product availability and the requirements of applicable consumer legislation.
This warranty is provided in addition to your statutory rights.
30-Day Commercial Returns Policy
KOVE also offers a voluntary 30-day returns policy for unused, unopened products returned in their original packaging.
Return shipping charges apply unless otherwise agreed by KOVE.
This policy is separate from any statutory cancellation rights available under applicable consumer legislation.
Business Customers (B2B)
For business, commercial and trade purchases, the sauna and chiller periods defined above also apply to covered replacement parts: two years for sauna mechanical and electrical components, three years for exterior sauna timber, and two years for chillers. Other products retain their stated parts-warranty periods. A business purchaser may also have rights as a consumer under the Australian Consumer Law.
The warranty covers replacement parts required as a result of manufacturing defects.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the warranty does not include:
- Labour;
- Installation;
- Call-out charges;
- Downtime;
- Loss of business;
- Loss of profits;
- Consequential or indirect losses.
Unused, unopened products may be returned within 30 days subject to return shipping costs.
Customer Responsibilities
To maximise product performance and maintain warranty coverage, customers are responsible for:
- Installing products in accordance with the supplied instructions and local laws.
- Using products only for their intended purpose.
- Following all maintenance procedures contained within the user manual.
- Maintaining products in a clean and serviceable condition.
- Reporting faults promptly once they become apparent.
- Preventing avoidable damage through continued operation after a fault develops.
Product-Specific Warranty Terms
Inflatable Ice Baths (KOVE Essential)
While covered by the standard manufacturer’s warranty, the following consumable components carry reduced warranty periods due to their nature.
| Component | Warranty Period |
|---|---|
| Inflatable Top Ring | 30 Days |
| Main Body | 6 Months, manufacturing defects only |
The following are not covered:
- Punctures;
- Cuts;
- Tears;
- UV degradation;
- Over inflation;
- Under inflation;
- Damage caused by sharp objects;
- Incorrect storage;
- General wear and tear.
Inflatable Ice Baths (KOVE Core, Pro, Elite)
The standard 2-Year Manufacturer’s Warranty applies.
The following are excluded:
- Punctures;
- Cuts;
- Tears;
- UV degradation;
- Damage caused by sharp objects;
- Incorrect storage;
- Over or under inflation;
- Cosmetic damage;
- Normal wear and tear.
Chillers
The standard 2-Year Manufacturer’s Warranty applies.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers must:
- Keep filters clean.
- Replace filter cartridges when required.
- Maintain adequate water flow.
- Maintain appropriate water chemistry.
- Use only water treatment products approved or recommended by KOVE.
- Install the unit on a level surface.
- Maintain adequate ventilation around the unit.
- Protect the unit from freezing conditions.
- Drain the unit before temperatures fall below freezing.
- Follow all maintenance procedures contained within the user manual.
Commercial & Shared Use
KOVE chillers may be suitable for shared use, gyms, studios and frequent plunging routines, provided the correct model has been selected and appropriate maintenance is carried out.
Higher usage places greater demands on the filtration system. As a minimum, the secondary hair net filter should be inspected and cleaned daily, or more frequently where required. The larger filter cartridge should also be inspected regularly and replaced whenever water flow becomes restricted or in accordance with the maintenance schedule.
If you are purchasing a chiller for commercial or shared use, we strongly recommend contacting the KOVE team before ordering so we can discuss your setup and recommend the most suitable product.
Where a product is used in an environment or application for which it is not designed, or contrary to KOVE’s recommendation, warranty coverage may not apply where that use has contributed to the fault.
Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not cover damage resulting from:
- Dirty or blocked filters;
- Restricted water flow;
- Failure to replace filter cartridges;
- Poor water chemistry;
- Corrosion caused by unsuitable chemicals;
- Freezing damage;
- Inadequate ventilation;
- Incorrect electrical installation;
- Power surges or unstable electrical supplies not attributable to the product;
- Commercial use of residential chillers beyond the product’s intended specification.
All KOVE Saunas — Indoor and Outdoor
The 2-year mechanical and electrical warranty and 3-year structural warranty for all exterior timber components apply across the sauna range. The covered components are defined in the warranty schedule above.
Sauna Bases, Site Preparation and Ground Movement
The customer is responsible for arranging and maintaining a solid, level, stable and adequately drained base that supports the sauna at every support point specified in the installation manual. The base and any supporting floor or deck must safely carry the combined weight of the sauna, heater, occupants and accessories without settlement, movement or excessive deflection. Obtain advice from an appropriately qualified builder, engineer or other tradesperson if the suitability or load capacity is uncertain.
Do not install a sauna on bare soil, grass, loose or uncompacted fill, an uneven surface or an inadequately supported deck. Any slab, paving or deck must be properly designed, prepared and supported for the product and site conditions. Follow the product-specific manual for support positions, clearances, drainage, anchoring and ventilation; these requirements vary by model.
Check that the base remains level and stable throughout use. Soil movement, erosion, subsidence, settlement, heave, tree roots, inadequate drainage and movement or failure of a slab, paving, deck or other supporting structure can distort the sauna, affect how it sits, prevent doors from closing, strain joints and damage timber, glass or equipment. Stop using the sauna if its support becomes unsafe and arrange appropriate rectification before further use.
To the extent permitted by law, KOVE is not responsible for faults, breakage, misalignment, instability or other loss or damage caused by an unsuitable base, insufficient support, ground movement or failure to prepare or maintain the site correctly. The voluntary KOVE warranty does not cover the resulting damage or the cost of correcting those site conditions. This exclusion does not apply to the extent that a defect in the supplied product, incorrect instructions or work for which KOVE is legally responsible caused or contributed to the problem.
Weather, Use and Maintenance Exclusions
Install, operate, protect, clean, service and store the sauna or chiller in accordance with its supplied user manual and product specifications. Indoor products must remain indoors. Outdoor products must have the drainage, ventilation, weather protection, timber treatment and other care required by their manual; an outdoor rating does not make a product floodproof or suitable for every exposure.
The voluntary KOVE warranty excludes faults and damage to the extent caused by:
- Incorrect assembly, installation, electrical connection, relocation or use outside the product specifications;
- Misuse, abuse, neglect, accidental impact, overloading, unauthorised modification or repair, or unsuitable accessories or chemicals;
- Storms, hail, flooding, lightning, fire, freezing, excessive heat, water ingress or other weather or environmental exposure beyond the product’s specified operating and installation conditions;
- Failure to provide the weather protection, drainage, ventilation, timber treatment, cleaning, inspection, filter changes, water treatment, frost protection or other maintenance required by the user manual;
- Continued operation after a fault, unsafe support, leak or other problem becomes apparent, where this causes further damage.
An exclusion must be connected to the fault or damage being claimed. A missed maintenance step or an unrelated modification does not automatically void the entire warranty. Ordinary permitted use and normal weather exposure within an outdoor product’s stated specifications do not, by themselves, remove cover for a manufacturing defect. Nothing in these exclusions limits rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Installation Requirements
To maintain warranty coverage:
- Installation must be completed in accordance with the supplied instructions and local laws.
- Electrical work should be completed by a suitably qualified electrician where required.
- Indoor saunas must only be installed indoors.
- Outdoor saunas must be installed on a suitable level base with appropriate drainage.
- Adequate ventilation must be maintained.
Maintenance Requirements
Customers should:
- Regularly inspect heater stones for outdoor saunas.
- Check benches and fixings.
- Keep ventilation openings clear.
- Maintain timber appropriately.
- Keep the sauna clean and dry when not in use.
Timber
Timber is a natural material. As a result, it may naturally:
- Expand and contract;
- Develop minor checking or surface cracks;
- Display knots;
- Change colour over time;
- Fade due to UV exposure;
- Show minor movement resulting from seasonal humidity.
These characteristics are not manufacturing defects unless they materially affect the structural integrity or safe operation of the product.
Sauna Heater Elements
Sauna heater elements that reach the end of their normal service life through regular use are considered consumable components and are not covered under this warranty.
However, heater element failures resulting from a manufacturing defect remain covered during the applicable warranty period.
Additional Exclusions
The warranty does not cover:
- Incorrect electrical installation;
- Flooding;
- Excessive moisture beyond normal operation;
- Pest damage;
- Routine maintenance;
- Routine replacement of worn consumables such as fuses. Manufacturing defects in supplied sauna lights, infrared tubes and heater elements remain covered for two years; they are not excluded simply because a component can wear out.
Hyperbaric Chambers
The standard 2-Year KOVE Manufacturer’s Warranty applies to consumer purchases. Business and trade purchases are supplied with a 2-Year Parts Warranty, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Warranty Coverage
The warranty covers manufacturing defects affecting:
- Hyperbaric chamber;
- Air compressor;
- Oxygen concentrator;
- Pressure regulation system;
- Valves and gauges;
- Electrical components;
- Internal air hoses and fittings;
- Viewing windows.
Where a valid manufacturing defect is confirmed during the warranty period, KOVE will provide replacement parts, replace the defective component or product, or provide a refund, as appropriate, subject to the customer’s rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Oxygen Concentrator Service Life
The supplied oxygen concentrator is designed with an expected service life of approximately 1,600 operating hours before major servicing or replacement may be required.
This service life is dependent on operating conditions, maintenance and usage.
The oxygen concentrator remains covered against manufacturing defects during the applicable warranty period. However, normal performance degradation or replacement resulting from reaching its expected service life is not considered a manufacturing defect and is not covered under warranty.
Replacement oxygen concentrators and spare parts remain available from KOVE.
Customer Responsibilities
To maintain warranty coverage, customers should:
- Install and operate the chamber in accordance with the supplied user manual.
- Use the chamber only for its intended purpose.
- Keep air intake filters clean.
- Replace intake filters where required.
- Keep the compressor and oxygen concentrator well ventilated.
- Keep the equipment clean and free from dust.
- Store the chamber clean and dry when not in use.
- Inspect hoses, valves and connections regularly.
- Report faults promptly once they become apparent.
Commercial & Shared Use
KOVE hyperbaric chambers may be suitable for shared use in gyms, studios, wellness centres and other commercial environments, provided the correct product has been selected and appropriate maintenance is carried out.
Products used in higher-frequency environments should be inspected and maintained more frequently than products used in domestic settings.
If you are purchasing a chamber for commercial or shared use, we strongly recommend contacting the KOVE team before ordering so we can recommend the most suitable product for your application.
Where a product is used in an environment or application for which it is not designed, or contrary to KOVE’s recommendation, warranty coverage may not apply where that use has contributed to the fault.
Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not cover damage resulting from:
- Incorrect installation or operation;
- Failure to follow the supplied instructions;
- Inadequate maintenance;
- Use of non-approved accessories or replacement parts;
- Cuts, punctures or abrasion to the chamber material;
- Damage caused by pets, sharp objects or accidental impact;
- UV degradation or incorrect storage;
- Water ingress into electrical components;
- Incorrect electrical supply or power surges;
- Unauthorised repairs or modifications;
- Commercial use beyond the product’s intended specification;
- Replacement of the oxygen concentrator due solely to reaching its expected service life of approximately 1,600 operating hours;
- Normal wear of consumable components including intake filters, oxygen masks, nasal cannulas, tubing and similar accessories.
Light Therapy & Recovery Equipment
This section applies to light therapy, massage and recovery products including, but not limited to:
- Compression boots;
- Compression trousers;
- Compression sleeves;
- Red light therapy devices;
- LED face masks;
- Eye massagers;
- Massage guns;
- Portable recovery accessories.
The standard 2-Year Manufacturer’s Warranty applies to manufacturing faults from the original order date.
The warranty is not renewed, restarted or extended where replacement devices, replacement parts or replacement accessories are supplied under warranty.
Use & Care Requirements
To maintain warranty coverage, customers should:
- Use the product only in accordance with the supplied instructions.
- Use only the supplied or approved charging equipment, power supplies and accessories.
- Avoid exposing products to excessive moisture, water ingress, extreme temperatures or direct impact.
- Store products in a clean, dry environment when not in use.
- Charge rechargeable products in accordance with the user manual.
- Stop using the product if it becomes damaged, overheats, malfunctions or shows signs of electrical fault.
Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not cover:
- Accidental damage;
- Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality;
- Damage caused by negligence, misuse or abuse;
- Damage caused by liquids, excessive moisture or water ingress unless the product is specifically designed for such use;
- Damage caused by unauthorised repairs or modifications;
- Damage caused by use of non-approved accessories, chargers, cables or power supplies;
- Normal wear of consumable items including batteries, straps, covers, garments, zips, Velcro, charging cables and connectors;
- Battery degradation arising from normal use over time;
- Products used for commercial rental, hire, treatment rooms, gyms, spas, clinics or other high-frequency environments unless expressly approved by KOVE in writing.
Commercial Use
Products designed for residential use are not intended for commercial, rental, hospitality, spa, gym, clinic, treatment room or other high-frequency environments.
Where products are used commercially without prior written approval from KOVE, warranty coverage may not apply.
This includes use of products in a context they are not designed for, such as using a low-power residential chiller in a commercial environment.
Commercial-grade products remain subject to the warranty applicable to that specific product.
Making a Warranty Claim
If you believe your product has developed a manufacturing defect, please contact KOVE before arranging repairs.
To assist us in assessing your claim, please provide:
- Proof of purchase or other reasonable evidence of purchase;
- A description of the fault;
- Photographs or videos where appropriate;
- The product serial number, where applicable;
- Details of any troubleshooting already completed.
KOVE may request additional photographs, videos or remote troubleshooting before determining whether a warranty claim is approved. For a sauna support or timber claim, we may reasonably request photographs of the base and support points and relevant installation or maintenance records. Missing a particular receipt does not automatically cancel cover; other reasonable evidence may be provided.
For an accepted claim under the voluntary KOVE warranty, KOVE will cover the reasonable costs of the remedy confirmed in the assessment. Contact us before arranging transport or chargeable repairs so we can confirm the process. If assessment finds an issue outside warranty cover, we will explain any proposed inspection or transport costs and obtain your agreement before proceeding. KOVE does not offer chargeable repair services. Where the Australian Consumer Law requires us to arrange collection or reimburse reasonable expenses, those rights remain unaffected.
Customers should discontinue use where continued operation could result in further damage.
Damage resulting from continued use after a fault becomes apparent may not be covered under this warranty.
Warranty Remedies
Warranty support: KOVE does not offer an in-house, on-site or general repair service. Under our voluntary warranty, we assess claims and provide replacement parts, a replacement unit or a refund, as appropriate. This service policy does not exclude any remedy, reimbursement or other obligation required by the Australian Consumer Law, and it does not reduce warranty promises attached to an earlier purchase.
Where a valid manufacturing defect is confirmed, KOVE may, at its sole discretion:
- Supply replacement parts;
- Replace the product with an equivalent new or refurbished model;
- Provide a refund where appropriate.
Where an identical product is no longer available, KOVE reserves the right to provide an equivalent or improved replacement of similar specification and value.
Replacement parts or units supplied under this voluntary warranty do not restart or extend the original warranty period. This does not limit any rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Warranty Registration & Transfer
KOVE’s Manufacturer’s Warranty is provided to the original purchaser of the product.
The warranty:
- Begins on the original order date;
- Applies only to the original purchaser;
- Is not transferable to any subsequent owner unless expressly agreed in writing by KOVE;
- Is not renewed, restarted or extended where replacement products, devices, components or accessories are supplied under warranty;
- Requires proof of purchase or other reasonable evidence of purchase when making a claim.
For products received as gifts, KOVE may accept a warranty claim from the recipient where satisfactory proof of the original purchase can be provided.
General Warranty Exclusions
The exclusions below apply only to the extent that the event or condition caused or contributed to the claimed fault or damage. They do not cancel cover for an unrelated manufacturing defect. For sauna and chiller installation, bases, weather protection and maintenance, the detailed requirements above also apply.
Unless required by law, this warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear;
- Cosmetic damage not affecting performance;
- Accidental damage;
- Misuse;
- Abuse;
- Neglect;
- Improper installation;
- Failure to follow operating instructions;
- Failure to carry out reasonable maintenance;
- Continued use after a fault becomes apparent;
- Unauthorised modifications;
- Unauthorised repairs;
- Damage caused by third-party accessories;
- Damage caused by non-approved chemicals;
- Fire;
- Flood;
- Storm damage;
- Lightning;
- Pest or rodent damage;
- Commercial use of residential products;
- Use of products in a context the product is not designed for without prior written approval from KOVE;
- Normal wear and routine replacement of consumables such as filters, seals, gaskets, batteries and fuses. This does not override the two-year manufacturing-defect cover for supplied sauna lights, infrared tubes, heater elements or other mechanical and electrical components.
Out-of-Warranty Support
KOVE does not provide a paid repair service. Where an issue is outside warranty cover, we may offer replacement parts or a replacement product for purchase, subject to availability. We will confirm pricing and obtain your agreement before supplying a paid replacement. No payment is required for a remedy that KOVE must provide free of charge under the Australian Consumer Law.
No Fault Found
Where a returned product is found not to have a manufacturing defect, or where the issue falls outside the scope of this warranty, KOVE reserves the right, where permitted by law, to recover reasonable costs associated with:
- Inspection;
- Testing;
- Collection;
- Shipping;
- Labour;
- Repackaging.
Any applicable charges will be communicated before work is undertaken.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, KOVE’s liability under this manufacturer’s warranty is limited to the replacement-parts, replacement-unit or refund remedies described within this document, subject to any remedy or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Nothing in this warranty excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
Nothing in this warranty affects your statutory rights.
General Terms
Updated terms do not retrospectively reduce warranty promises or consumer rights attached to an earlier purchase. If you purchased under an earlier warranty, keep your order confirmation and the warranty supplied with that order.
- Warranty coverage begins on the original order date.
- Proof of purchase or other reasonable evidence of purchase is required when making a claim.
- Replacement products or components may be new, refurbished or updated equivalents.
- KOVE reserves the right to inspect, test or request return of products or components before approving warranty claims.
- Certain products may be subject to additional warranty terms, maintenance requirements or exclusions which will be detailed within the relevant user manual or product documentation.
- This warranty applies only within the original country of purchase unless otherwise agreed by KOVE.
- This warranty is governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
