Welcome to Your KOVE Cube Sauna
Thank you for choosing KOVE. This manual provides essential instructions for safely operating, maintaining and caring for your Cube Sauna.
Select a dropdown below to view the relevant instructions. Please read all safety information before operating your sauna.
01. Before Your First Session
BEFORE USING YOUR SAUNA
Complete the following checks before starting your first sauna session.
STEP 1 — INSPECT THE HEATER
Make sure the heater, sauna stones and protective fence are clear. Never place towels, clothing or combustible objects on or against the heater.
STEP 2 — PREPARE YOURSELF
Remove glasses, jewellery, mobile phones and other belongings. The original manual recommends taking a brief shower before use.
STEP 3 — CHECK THAT IT IS SAFE TO ENTER
Do not use the sauna after consuming alcohol or drugs, when you have a fever or when you feel unwell.
IMPORTANT — SUPERVISION
Keep pets out of the sauna. Children and anyone requiring assistance must have continuous responsible adult supervision.
02. Starting the Sauna Heater
STEP 1 — SWITCH ON THE HEATER
Use the controls fitted to your sauna heater. The original Cube Sauna manual does not identify a specific control panel or button sequence.
STEP 2 — SET THE TEMPERATURE
The original manual describes a typical operating temperature of 60–80°C, measured between bench and head height. Beginners should start at the lower end.
STEP 3 — ALLOW THE SAUNA TO WARM UP
Wait until the sauna reaches a comfortable temperature. Preheating time varies depending on the heater, starting temperature and outdoor conditions.
IMPORTANT — HEATER OPERATING LIMIT
The maximum continuous equipment runtime is 99 minutes. Allow the equipment to rest for at least 30 minutes after each cycle.
This equipment limit is not a recommended duration for a person to remain inside the sauna.
HEATER CONTROL INSTRUCTIONS
For the exact heater control sequence, refer to the documentation supplied with your installed sauna heater.
03. Temperature & Session Duration
RECOMMENDED SAUNA ROUND
The original manual suggests approximately 5–15 minutes per sauna round. First-time users should begin with shorter sessions.
ADJUST TO YOUR COMFORT
Heat tolerance varies between individuals. Start at a lower temperature and increase cautiously only if you feel comfortable.
TAKE BREAKS BETWEEN ROUNDS
If you plan to re-enter the sauna, cool down and rest between rounds.
IMPORTANT — SESSION DURATION
Do not treat the heater’s 99-minute equipment operating limit as a personal sauna session target.
04. During Your Sauna Session
WARNING — HOT SURFACES
Sit away from the heater. Do not touch the heater, lean against it or place your hands over it. Metal and heater components can cause burns.
MONITOR HOW YOU FEEL
Leave immediately if you feel dizzy, drowsy, nauseated, unusually weak or otherwise unwell.
USING SAUNA STONES
The original manual refers to steam forming on sauna stones but does not specify a water quantity or pouring procedure.
IMPORTANT — ADDING WATER TO STONES
Only add water if the fitted sauna heater permits it. Always follow the specific heater manufacturer’s instructions.
05. Cooling Down & Switching Off
STEP 1 — EXIT CAREFULLY
Leave the sauna slowly and allow your body to cool gradually.
STEP 2 — COOL DOWN
The original manual suggests a shower or pool cooling period of approximately 10–20 minutes after a sauna round. Choose a comfortable cooling method.
STEP 3 — REST & REHYDRATE
After the final round, rest for at least 20 minutes, drink water and allow your body temperature to return towards normal.
STEP 4 — TURN OFF THE HEATER
Switch off the heater using its fitted controls. When the sauna is not in use, turn off the power supply as directed by the original manual.
IMPORTANT — NEVER LEAVE THE HEATER UNATTENDED
Never leave the sauna heater running unattended.
06. Essential Safety Instructions
FIRE SAFETY
Keep all combustible materials away from the sauna heater.
BURN PREVENTION
Do not touch or lean over the heater while it is hot.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
Disconnect power before maintenance. Use a qualified electrician for electrical work.
ALCOHOL & DRUGS
Never use the sauna while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
SUPERVISION
Keep pets out of the sauna. Supervise children and anyone requiring assistance continuously.
STOP IF YOU FEEL UNWELL
Leave the sauna immediately if you become dizzy, drowsy or uncomfortable.
HEATER EQUIPMENT REST
Do not exceed 99 minutes of continuous heater operation. Allow the equipment to rest for at least 30 minutes afterward.
07. Who Should Seek Medical Advice
MEDICAL PRECAUTIONS
Heat exposure may not be suitable for everyone. Consult a healthcare professional before use if you have a medical condition that may be affected by heat.
PREGNANCY & OLDER AGE
Seek medical advice before use, particularly if you are sensitive to heat.
HEART, BREATHING & BLOOD PRESSURE CONDITIONS
Consult a clinician if you have cardiovascular, respiratory or blood-pressure conditions.
MEDICATION
Some medicines affect sweating, blood pressure or heat tolerance. Ask your doctor or pharmacist before using the sauna.
FEVER, INJURIES & IMPAIRED SWEATING
Avoid sauna use if you have a fever. Consult a clinician about acute injuries, impaired sweating, implants or other relevant conditions.
IMPORTANT — SERIOUS SYMPTOMS
If you experience serious symptoms, leave the sauna and seek urgent medical assistance.
08. Cleaning & Maintenance
STEP 1 — KEEP THE ENTRANCE CLEAN
Use a mat outside the sauna door to reduce dirt being tracked inside.
STEP 2 — CARE FOR THE TIMBER
Remove marks gently. The source manual suggests light sanding for stubborn stains and annual treatment of exterior timber.
STEP 3 — CHECK SAUNA STONES
The original manual suggests replacing sauna stones after more than 500 hours of normal use. Follow the fitted heater manufacturer’s maintenance recommendations.
STEP 4 — MAINTAIN ELECTRICAL SAFETY
