KOVE Oval Cedar Ice Bath – Reclined Cold Plunge

The KOVE Oval Cedar Ice Bath is designed for those who prefer a reclined, full-body cold plunge rather than an upright seated position. Its elongated oval shape allows you to lean back naturally, fully immerse the body, and remain relaxed for longer cold exposure. Crafted from real cedar wood with a hygienic 304 stainless steel inner liner and band, this premium ice bath blends traditional materials with modern durability — making it suitable for both home wellness spaces and professional recovery environments.

Designed for a Reclined Cold Plunge Experience

Unlike traditional barrel-style ice baths that keep you upright, the oval design supports a more natural, laid-back posture. This reduces pressure through the neck, hips, and shoulders, allowing you to focus on controlled breathing and recovery rather than discomfort. The result is a calmer, deeper, and more immersive cold therapy session — particularly beneficial for experienced users and longer plunges.

Premium Cedar Exterior & Stainless Steel Interior

The exterior is crafted from cedar wood, selected for its natural resilience and timeless appearance in cold plunge environments. Inside, a smooth 304 stainless steel liner and band provide a corrosion-resistant, hygienic surface that is easy to clean and built for frequent use. A fitted cover is included to help protect the water between sessions and support improved temperature retention when used with cold water or a chiller.

Natural Wood Character

Each KOVE wooden ice bath is individually crafted and entirely unique. Natural variations in grain and tone are part of the material’s character and give every unit its own distinct appearance. The wood is pre-finished to allow it to develop a deeper, richer tone over time. We recommend ongoing treatment with Danish oil to preserve the wood and enhance its natural depth.

Comfortable, Safe Access

The included double-layer step provides stable, secure entry and exit, making the ice bath suitable for regular daily use in both home and professional environments.

Chiller Ready with Standard 1/2" Connections

The KOVE Oval Ice Bath is fully chiller compatible and designed to connect to professional ice bath chillers — including all KOVE ice bath chiller models. It features two standard 1/2" stainless steel connection points, which is the industry standard for high-quality ice baths:

• One outlet carrying water from the ice bath to the chiller for cooling
• One inlet returning cooled water from the chiller back into the bath

This closed-loop circulation system ensures stable temperature control, efficient cooling, and reliable long-term performance. Product images: The listing includes images showing the integrated drain outlet valve and one of the stainless steel chiller connection ports. The second chiller port is positioned on the bath for full circulation and is identical in specification.

Integrated Drain Outlet

An integrated outlet valve allows for easy draining when changing water, cleaning the bath, or preparing it for storage or transport.

Ideal For

• Reclined, full-body cold immersion
• Longer cold exposure sessions
• Post-workout recovery and reduced muscle soreness
• Contrast therapy after sauna sessions
• Gyms, studios, spas, and wellness retreats

Which Ice Bath Is Best for You?

• Round / Barrel Ice Bath: Best if you prefer an upright seated plunge, have limited space, or want a traditional, focused cold immersion.
• Oval Ice Bath: Best if you want a more relaxed, reclined position, longer cold exposure, and a calmer, full-body immersion.

Both designs deliver the same core cold therapy benefits — the choice comes down to posture, space, and how you prefer to recover.
